4. Costs of selling

Some of the costs involved in selling your business are obvious, such as the agent’s commission, legal costs and taxation liabilities, while some of the smaller costs might be overlooked, such as your accountant, a stocktaker, landlord if the business operated from a leasehold premises.

As with most agents, Bag a Business Ltd’s fee policy is a mainly result orientated percentage, subject to a minimum fee level, below which it would be impossible to provide the quality of service you would require and deserve.

Our fees and commission are always agreed with clients in advance and will be clearly confirmed in writing.

Legal Fees

Solicitors rates vary, some charge by the hour and others offer a set fee. Always choose a solicitor with the relevant commercial experience, as business sales are very complicated and require the attention of someone with the necessary experience.

We are able to refer you to firms with which we have had successful dealings with over the years.
