Sell your Business

6. Negotiating the sale

After a viewing an interested party may ask to see copies of accounts and any other relevant paperwork. With your permission, we can supply these, which is why we request copies to be on file at our offices.

An interested party may make an offer of the full asking price, especially if there are other prospective purchasers. However you can expect an offer to be less than the asking price but often an offer is less than the prospective purchaser is willing to pay. Our experienced negotiators will work on your behalf to get the price to an acceptable level for you the seller.

Negotiations may not only be about price, but about timescales for completion, transfer of leases, handover periods etc.
